Prescription NAD+ and the supplement aisle are not the same thing

The lifespan claim is the clearest tell. Lifespan extension from NAD+ precursors has been seen in animals, not in humans. Any seller stating otherwise is telling you what their evidence standard is.

Set your expectations before you buy

NAD+ is the most over-marketed product in this category, and buying from a good clinic does not change the underlying evidence. What is well established is that NAD+ is central to cellular energy metabolism and that oral precursors raise blood NAD+ levels in humans. What is not established is that raising those levels reliably improves fatigue, cognition or aging outcomes. A 2025 randomized trial in long COVID raised NAD+ substantially and still failed its primary cognitive endpoint.

That does not make NAD+ worthless, it makes it unproven. The right reason to buy it through a clinic is that if you are going to try something unproven, it should be prescribed, compounded properly, dosed by a professional and monitored. The wrong reason is a promise nobody can keep.
